August 2024 - Consider the application of Gail and Rich Roberge, 26 Main Street who wish to place a small, wooden, movable shed on their property near the rear property line. Because of the very small size of their lot, the shed would partially encroach on the setback.
August 2024 - The ZBA unanimously approved the application of Gail and Rich Roberge to place a small, movable shed on their property.
“The house presently encroaches on the setback on two sides, and the lot itself is about half the area that would be required present day for a buildable lot. The ZBA finds that the proposed slight increase in nonconformity, by placing the shed partially within the setback, is not substantially more detrimental than the preexisting non-conforming use.”
